Welcome!

This is a volunteer led effort to translate racial and social justice topics/terms from their North American context to South Asian languages. These tools are intended to help the South Asian diaspora educate themselves, their family, friends, and networks about structural racism in the United States and western nations.

White Supremacy Graphic

Below are translations of the popular White Supremacy triangle graphic that lists forms of Covert & Overt white supremacy. Each term is accompanied by a translation, transliteration, and reference reading that offers more context and explanation of each concept.

What about other South Asian Languages?

We are actively looking for translators & contributors for Marathi, Telegu, Tamil, Gujarati, Malayalam, & other languages from South Asia. We are also looking for graphic designers.

If you have enough language fluency in English and any South Asian language to be able to translate words that do not have easy 1:1 counterparts in the South Asian context, and want to work with us to create resources for your community, please get in touch!. If you are fluent in the languages we have already covered (Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi), please also get in touch for future projects.

Stay Updated

As we build out more translations, these resources are shared with various organizations and social media groups upon completion, for dissemination. If you are an individual or an organization that would like to stay updated about all upcoming translations of the White Supremacy graphic or other resources, please sign up for our tinyletter here. We will only be using the tinyletter to share new completed translations.
